                                                       GENERAL RULES OF PREVENTION ACCIDENTS

                             DIVISION INTO INSTALMENTS OF THE TAXES:

                               The Prime Minister's decree

                              of the 20.4.00 has deferred the terms of the deposits of the relative taxes to the

                              incomes tax return, therefore the consequent instalments will have the following

                              expirations:

                              HOLDERS OF VAT

                             NOT OF LEFT VAT  

                              GENERAL RULES OF PREVENTION ACCIDENTS

                              The behaviour

                               First defence against the industrial accidents are prudent conduct and  attention.

                              Therefore, dangerous jokes and actions can be distraction reasons causing  dama

                              ge to job colleagues must be avoided. Moreover, before beginning a job it is neces

                              sary to make sure that nobody works in a dangerous environment.

                              Conduct and attention are not enought. Useful experience and knowledge are expe

                              cted  from all.

                              Therefore it is necessary:

                                1. To observe the dispositions of the Advanced ones

                              2. Do not execute manoeuvres not in your own competence or of which you do not

                                  have perfect knowledge

                             3. Use the devices of individual protection

                             4. Signal to Advanced the malfunctions found

                             5. Do not remove the emergency devices (screen, aspiration, etc.)

                             6. Timely signal accidents endured or of which it has been come to acquaintance,

                                 even if they do not seem serious. The only ones in a position to judge are doctors.

                             The Identifying one

                               - RED and of a circular shape for the PROHIBITION. It is also used for the antifire

                               one but is not of a circular shape

                             - YELLOW and of a triangular shape for the DANGERS

                             - BLUE  for OBBLIGATION

                             - GREEN for identifying EMERGENCY

                            The workplace

                              - It must be kept clean and ordered.

                            - The unused tools have to be kept in the appropriate sheaths. Those deteriorated  or

                               in bad condition replaced.

                           The protection of the person    

                             - DO NOT USE clothes with  fluttering parts, shoes with heels and sandals and clogs

                           - DO NOT USE, in presence of machines with elements in  motion, rings, bracelets

                             and  necklaces

                           - CONSTANTLY  USE the personal equipment of  aprons, accident-prevention ove

                              ralls, shoes  and gloves. Ask for the substitution in deterioration case.

                           The raising  and transport of weights

                             - Always use the undercarriages. DO NOT PULL THEM BUT PUSH THEM.

                             When not in use they have to be parked in appropriate characterised and

                             protected areas

                           - During the transport with arms do  not flex log

                           - Be sure  that the cargo has one good manual. If too heavy to demand the participa

                             tion of one or more companions

                           - Not to deposit cargoes near  scales, systems antifire, means of ready aid and places

                             of passage.

                           The  inner circulation

                             - To respect the identifying one of emergency

                           - NOT TO  RUN to the escape of the premises and the buildings, in occasion of signa

                             ture of presence to the job, on the scales and in the corridors. To earn some time is

                             not worth an  accident!

                           - Do not be transported by vehicles or undercarriages employable only for the mate

                             rials

                           - Do not stay in the zones of cargo or drainage.

                          The electricity

                          - Do not carry out  connections of fortune in lack of thorns taken or suitable

                          - To disconnect one thorn do not pull the cable but bring the thorn itself

                          - Do not open  the closets and the containers  of equipment nor do interven

                            tions.

                          Fire

                          - Respect the smoke prohibition. Place cigarette-end and wax  matches in the

                            appropriate containers

                          - Do not deposit materials in front of extinguishers and small opening antifire

                          - Do not use water in  order to extinguish flames on equipment electrical wor

                            kers in tension

                         - In fire case:

                         1. Stay calm

                         2. Immediately set  in action the alarm systems and the extinguishers

                         3. Demand the participation of the firemen and of the Advanced ones.

                        Personal  hygiene

                        For dirty activities detergents must be used.

                        For the cleaning of the person it is injurious use dissolvents, oils and benzines.

                        The smeared are to be held in pockets. Use personal cabinets for storing clothes.

                        The feeding

                       - Foods, well-proportioned to the energies and correctly shared in the arc of the

                          day, must be balanced and must be consumed in appropriate predisposed pre

                          mises

                        - Between  drinks, during the job, alcoholic ones  must be avoided

                        - Be careful of iced drinks.

                       The aid to the injured people

                      - Act with precaution, and, if it is possible, eliminate the cause of the accident

                       - Do not subject the injured person to useless movements

                       - Do not absolutely move the suspicions of fracture, those suspicions of  verte

                         bral column or cranial trauma

                       - Do not give them drinks or other substances

                       - Untie the clothes that hinder the respiration

                       - If the injured person does not breathe who is able, can carry out  the artificial

                         respiration

                       - Be quick for the intervention of doctors and/or ambulance, or for the transport

                         at the nearest point of first aid.
